Summary
RC Extras does not collect, sell or share personal data. It has no account, no analytics and no servers of its own.
What the extension does
- It runs only on
app.revenuecat.comand changes how the project filter row looks. - It reads project names on that page to show them on hover and to list projects without an app icon in its settings.
- For projects without an app icon, it reads that project's Web Billing settings from RevenueCat (the uploaded app icon, terms URL and support email domain) using your existing RevenueCat session, to pick an icon. This is read-only and stays in your browser; only the website domain is used, as described below.
What is stored
- Your chosen icon size, the names of projects without an app icon and the detected icon source (for example a website domain) are stored locally in your browser.
- The project → website list you enter is stored with Chrome sync storage, so it follows your Chrome profile if you use Chrome Sync.
Network requests
- Requests to
app.revenuecat.comto read the project settings above, with your own session. - Icons uploaded to RevenueCat are loaded from RevenueCat's own image host.
- For each website you enter or that is detected, the extension asks Google's public favicon service (
www.google.com/s2/favicons) for that site's icon. Google receives the website address and your IP address, as with any web request. See Google's privacy policy. - If Google has no icon and you allowed access to that website, the extension requests the icon directly from that website.
- No other requests are made.
Removing your data
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored.
